Dr.J, i really liked your set and think you are a good DJ.
No, nothing i have said is aimed at any DJ, it was a bit of sarcasm because of the way the result had been taken
If any of you think that i am taking the piss out of the dj's then you should start reading some of the other replies i have put up on this site and you will see that i have had nothing but praise for all the DJ's in the comp

Have you ever thought that it might just be that Tall Trees are looking for a certain sound to help the club move on and not stay in the past.
Hey, you never know, maybe, just maybe, that is why they have picked the DJ's they have to be in the final!!!! |
Or maybe they didnt want someone who would show everyone else up
its easier to pick someone who plays it safe and makes a few mistakes
makes everyone else look better and gives em an eaier life ha ha
oh well argue on an on if it makes you feel better |

I actually think, IMHO, that the DJ's they have chosen so far are the ones that showed that they could be versatile, not only with the style of tunes, but also to be able to adapt to the crowd, and be able to change things around a bit to suit the time and place.
N.B. This is not meant as a dig at the other DJ's, because as i have said all along i respect all of them for getting to the DJ comp in the first place.

I'm not here to argue, if that really is the way you feel then so be it, you're entitled to your own opinion, as am i.
What i would like to know is why people can't just accept a decision for what it is, made on the virtues that the club are looking for. Now do any of us truely know what the club are looking for? I hope not because if we did then all the DJ's would know how and what to play.

If it is.. then i had more respect for befor the night. some of ur posts after the compo have not helped you.
Fair play u may have been one of the better dj's but if u dont win u shuld keep ur head high and try for other comps and promotions inthe future!

Why would a club pick a Dj who made mistakes it wouldn't look too good for the club if there ressie can't do his job .
Just like to wish everyone in the final all the best may the best dj win.
And espically would like to thank Steve (the inbread) Lid for some top nights at the Trees

I wondered how long it would be before somebody thought that the John posting those comments was me....I'll clear this up good and proper right now. It is NOT me so anybody who thought highly of me before can still think highly of me now. I don't make a habit of questioning peoples' decisions nor do i have the audacity to have a go at other dj's. I treat others the way i like to be treated and so far, this style has kida worked.
Lets try and lighten the mood a little bit on this forum as it seems to be geting a little heated in areas and it seems to be coming back to me! This is not what the Dr ordered |

john is me....go on dance academywebsite and you'll see the same john oh and blackout audio aswell......
ask on there and they'll tell yer i is meeee ,,meee is meee not no one else         
hopefully that has cleared up any confusion. and hell am i not allowed an opinion or what
mind control at its worse ha ha you must all agree with what the club promotes you must not have a difference of opinion oh golly |

| I believe the 2 DJ's who made it into the final are both very deserving of it!! I agree with Dr.J, this forum seems to be getting a little heated!! For the DJ's who didn't make it through to the final they should all be proud to have at least been chosen out of all the entries that were sent in!! That in my eyes is a success in itself!! A massive well done to DR.J, SIMON WILLIAMS, THE MD BOYS! & i'll even give myself a pat on the back! (though I know I f*ct up a bit! well, we can't be perfect all the time!!!) Good luck to every1 for the future!!!!!! xxx |
